In short, the richest 1% or 5% protecting itself.

It is way, way, way too convenient for all of these super rich donors and Super Pacs to be forming for this election cycle after the Citizens United catastrophe of a decision. That decision needs to be overturned. The 5 conservative judges that voted for corporate "personhood" need to be investigated for possible bribes from the Koch brothers and others. Several have attended conventions at Koch brother organizations.
